Senior Technical Program Manager – Silicon Co-Design
NVIDIAJob Title
Senior Technical Program Manager – Silicon Co-Design
Role Summary
Owner of program outcomes for multiple silicon programs within NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group, driving delivery from architecture engagement through tape-out and silicon correlation. The role requires technical literacy across silicon, systems, software, and manufacturing and a focus on durable process improvement.
Experience Level
Senior; requires 10+ years in technical or engineering organizations, with at least 5 years owning multiple complex programs concurrently.
Responsibilities
Lead program delivery end-to-end and create scalable execution models that reduce risk and improve successor programs.
- Own schedule, dependencies, and delivery commitments across several programs from architecture through tape-out and silicon correlation.
- Manage schedule headroom and surface resource constraints early; accountable for delivery outcomes.
- Prioritize and steer engineering work to keep programs on schedule; unblock teams and make day-to-day decisions.
- Align stakeholders across silicon, systems, software, operations, and product to prevent misalignments.
- Identify and translate technical risk into decision-ready options for leadership; escalate and resolve critical issues.
- Drive durable process and operating-model improvements so each successor program runs more effectively.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience to perform the role.
- 10+ years in technical or engineering organizations with a minimum of 5 years in program management owning multiple complex programs concurrently.
- Working understanding of silicon design cycles, verification, and productization sufficient to sense trade-offs and risks and to communicate with technical teams.
- Proven ability to work across siliconsystemsoftware boundaries and drive integration resolution without being the domain expert on every topic.
- Track record of delivering fast development cycles under uncertainty and high visibility; able to create order from ambiguity and generate transparent program health.
- Strong analytical capability: quantify risk, build predictive program-health metrics, and use data to surface issues early.
- Deliberate use of AI tools to improve program workflows and measurable delivery outcomes.
- Precise, direct communication tailored to the audience.
- Ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence resistant stakeholders without relying solely on escalations.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Master's degree is a plus. (Source text also allowed "or equivalent experience").
Ways to Stand Out
Preferred but not required qualifications or demonstrated achievements.
- Previous engineering background with deep technical literacy used to steer engineering decisions and spot risk.
- Built a program execution model or methodology that remained in use after departure.
- Experience using AI-powered program management tools in production for status automation, risk flagging, or dependency tracking with demonstrable ROI.
