Senior Technical Program Manager, EDA Cluster Builds and Decoms

Role Summary

Lead strategy and execution for bringup, decommissioning, operations, and modernization of infrastructure that supports NVIDIA's Hardware EDA ecosystem. Partner with Hardware Infrastructure, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to scale EDA infrastructure and enable reliable, performant chip development workflows.

This role drives program roadmaps, establishes planning and reporting practices, and promotes operational excellence across cluster builds and decoms.

Experience Level

Senior-level β€” requires 12+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering and/or technical program management.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and delivering programs for EDA cluster buildouts, decoms, and infrastructure modernization.

  • Define and drive technical strategy and execution for cluster buildouts, decoms, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
  • Coordinate cross-company partners and stakeholders to meet business objectives and scale bringups efficiently.
  • Manage program planning, prioritization, dependency tracking, design reviews, and execution using agile methodologies.
  • Establish and track metrics, OKRs, and KPIs to measure program success and identify improvement areas.
  • Identify and implement tooling, automation, and process improvements to scale operations and reduce time-to-setup.
  • Prepare and deliver clear communications on program status, risks, and opportunities to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Serve as a liaison between developers, customers, and partners to align multi-functional teams and resolve cross-team issues.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

  • 12+ years of experience in software or hardware engineering and/or technical program management roles.
  • Experience with infrastructure software, production application development, and large-scale distributed computing.
  • Experience managing large-scale EDA infrastructure across CPU/GPU architectures and understanding of semiconductor design, manufacturing processes, and EDA tools/flows.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong multitasking skills, attention to thoroughness, and ability to rapidly switch context.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern project management tools.
  • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement in tooling, automation, and release management.

Nice-to-have:

  • Deep experience with infrastructure cluster buildouts, NPI hardware evaluation, and cluster decoms.
  • Experience modernizing EDA infrastructure into Platform-as-a-Product capabilities.
  • Experience migrating platforms from on-premises to cloud.
  • Hands-on software development, release engineering, and DevOps experience.

Education Requirements

B.S. (or equivalent practical experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience.
