Senior Technical Program Manager, ASPICE Assessor
Role Summary
Senior Technical Program Manager working with NVIDIA's Infrastructure, Planning and Processes (IPP) organization to perform Automotive SPICE and HW SPICE assessments across automotive programs including DriveAV and hardware platform development. The role combines deep process-assessment expertise with program management and clear communication to drive measurable process improvements.

Responsibilities
Assess and improve engineering process maturity across systems, software, and hardware domains; coordinate with engineering and leadership to convert findings into tracked improvements.
- Plan and perform ASPICE (PAM 4.0) and HW SPICE (HW Engineering PRM/PAM 3.0) assessments across systems, software, hardware, support and management processes.
- Use AI-assisted assessment tooling to review, validate, and cluster findings; apply engineering judgment to identify root causes and priorities.
- Facilitate structured findings workshops with development teams; present evidence, discuss ratings, and align on improvement priorities.
- Translate findings into concrete, trackable improvement items and follow through to closure with team leads and program managers.
- Prepare clear status reports and briefings for senior leadership and steering groups on assessment trends and risks.
- Mentor teams on ASPICE and HW SPICE implementation and guide capability improvement efforts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of assessment methodology and calibration of AI-assisted tools against assessor judgment.
Requirements
Must-have technical and program skills; certifications and degree expectations are listed separately under Education Requirements.
- Proven track record conducting ASPICE assessments from planning through report delivery.
- Deep working knowledge of Automotive SPICE PAM 4.0, able to evaluate and support findings at BP and GP level.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills; able to present findings to engineers and senior leadership and drive structured discussions to actionable outcomes.
- Program or project management experience coordinating multiple workstreams and improvement programs.
- Familiarity with safety and security standards and their application in safety-critical programs (ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, ISO 8800).
- Comfort with AI-assisted tools and ability to synthesize large structured outputs into assessment results.
- Ability to mentor and coach engineering teams on process implementation and improvement.
- Nice-to-have: experience with HW SPICE 3.0, autonomous driving program experience, or contributions to standards working groups.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Intacs Automotive SPICE Provisional Assessor certification is expected (Competent Assessor preferred). Certification or proven knowledge in ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ISO 8800 was specified in the posting.
