Senior Technical Program Manager
Role Summary
Lead multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver next-generation AMD data-center system solutions from concept through customer ship. Coordinate silicon, firmware, board, thermal, mechanical and supply-chain stakeholders across multiple sites to define, design, verify and ship platform-level products.

Responsibilities
Accountable for technical program leadership, cross-functional coordination, and on-time delivery of system-level products.
- Partner with electrical, firmware, thermal and mechanical teams to define, design and verify product hardware.
- Manage and lead electrical, thermal and mechanical pathfinding and system design proof-of-concepts.
- Work with electro-mechanical vendors to ensure technical deliverables; coordinate with supply chain for vendor selection.
- Coordinate across product design, manufacturing engineering, firmware and software to develop cohesive development plans.
- Lead resolution of design issues that impact program deliverables.
- Develop and share processes to improve program execution and organizational capability.
- Communicate program status, risks, tradeoffs and solution options to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Manage joint-development and customer-facing technical interactions.
- Support limited domestic travel as required.
Requirements
Must-have skills and relevant experience; preferred items noted where applicable.
- Proven track record managing hardware/platform development and delivering large-scale, cross-functional projects on time and within budget.
- Strong technical understanding of interactions among silicon, firmware/software, and board/system components.
- Experience across hardware development lifecycle including foundry, OSAT, platform architecture, design and execution.
- Vendor management and supply-chain coordination experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and executive-level presentation skills.
- Skilled with MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and Confluence; familiarity with JAMA, JIRA or similar requirements and defect-tracking tools.
- Experience with Agile software and project development methodologies preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, risk evaluation, and ability to influence across functions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-site technical organization and to adapt to changing business and technical requirements.
- Authorized to work in the United States; this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required; advanced degree preferred. MBA or PMI PMP® certification is a plus.
