Senior Technical Product Engineer, Place and Route
Role Summary
Senior technical product engineer responsible for defining and driving product requirements and roadmaps for place-and-route and related EDA tools. Works with customers, field teams, and engineering to identify high-value problems, prototype solutions, and ensure release readiness.
Embedded in the product management organization, this role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and cross-functional coordination to deliver improvements in power, performance, area (PPA) and multi-physics closure at advanced nodes.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include customer engagement, product definition, prototyping, and release coordination.
- Engage directly with customers to identify and prioritize high-value PPA and multi-physics closure problems.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform the product roadmap, with emphasis on advanced nodes and GenAI/Agentic flows.
- Collaborate with DRIs, field partners, and engineering to identify product gaps and opportunities.
- Define Market Requirements Documents (MRDs) and partner on Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) to set product direction.
- Develop code prototypes as executable specifications to demonstrate features and guide development.
- Manage release readiness criteria across Alpha, Beta, Limited Customer Availability, and General Availability stages.
- Enable field and partner teams through training, benchmarks, and go-to-market support.
- Represent the company as a subject matter expert at customer forums and industry conferences.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and collaboration experience; preferred items noted separately.
