Senior System Verification Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior System Verification Engineer will join the Emulation division, working onsite at NVIDIA's Santa Clara headquarters. This role involves supporting emulation environments and debugging system-level test failures and emulator environment issues.

Experience Level

Senior level, with 8+ years of proven experience in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities include:

  • Support multiple emulation environments using advanced techniques.
  • Bring up GPUs, SoCs, and other components on emulation, addressing system-level test failures.
  • Verify High-Speed protocols like PCIe/CXL/NVLINK/IB/Ethernet and Low-speed protocols like I2C/I3C/SPI/UART.
  • Collaborate across teams including Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, and Software.
  • Lead emulation vendors in debugging issues.
  • Write monitors and checkers for hardware test issues.

Requirements

Must-have:

  • M.S. or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field.
  • Proficient in Verilog/VHDL, C/C++, and SystemVerilog.
  • Experience with high-speed and low-speed interfaces.
  • Working knowledge of CPU-GPU coherency.
  • Experience with UVM verification environments and scripting in Perl/Python/C/C++.

Nice-to-have:

  • Familiarity with hierarchical design approaches.
  • Experience with Zebu emulation.

Education Requirements

M.S. or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
