Role Summary
Work in the Test Solutions group to design, develop, and implement manufacturing test solutions for NVIDIA embedded and automotive system products. The role combines hardware and software expertise to improve test coverage, automation, and production efficiency.
Join a team responsible for test strategy, test fixtures, diagnostic software, and factory support for platform- and system-level products.
Experience Level
Senior — typically 5+ years of post-silicon validation or equivalent practical experience in board- or system-level products.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include creating and validating manufacturing tests, debugging systems, and supporting factory operations.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing test solutions for embedded and automotive system products.
- Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technologies and methodologies to improve production efficiency.
- Develop test strategies for new product features: specify, design, and qualify test fixtures, test equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Review and provide feedback for design-for-test (DFT) in early design stages.
- Debug complex hardware and software issues during builds and validation phases.
- Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
- Provide on-site support for builds and factory operations at contract manufacturer (CM) sites, including local and overseas travel as required.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience; listed separately are relevant nice-to-have qualifications.
- 5+ years of post-silicon validation experience at board or system level.
- Experience developing and maintaining manufacturing test programs at platform or system level.
- Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitLab).
- Strong understanding of hardware and system-level concepts in embedded and automotive environments.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with RF principles and testing methodologies, and knowledge of wireless standards (5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth).
- Hands-on experience with RF testers and analyzers.
Education Requirements
BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
