Job Title
Senior System Integration and Validation Engineer
Role Summary
Lead system validation, debug, and cross-functional alignment for a flagship GPU/SoC program within the Silicon Co-Design Group. The role owns end-to-end validation campaigns, multi-team debug to root cause, and development of AI-enabled validation workflows that reduce escapes and improve ramp confidence.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 8 to 12 years of post-silicon validation, system integration, or platform debug experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for validation strategy, large-scale test campaigns, and cross-stack debug on GPU, SoC, and platform programs.
- Own end-to-end system validation: feature checks, PVT stress, system-stress campaigns, and multi-unit fleet testing.
- Lead debug of complex cross-stack issues (logic, SI/PI, power delivery, firmware, software) and drive to root cause with reusable mitigations or product fixes.
- Develop test plans, scripts, and automation ahead of physical builds, translating architecture, boot flows, high-speed I/O, and power/thermal dependencies into executable coverage.
- Design and deploy AI-enabled debug and validation workflows with explicit guardrails (evaluations, regression validation, false-positive handling) and measurable impact.
- Translate technical risk into decision-ready options for technical and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with global teams across silicon design, firmware, software, manufacturing, and platform engineering to resolve cross-team failures.
- Lead crisis-mode debug task forces and convert lessons into reusable methodologies.
Requirements
Key qualifications and demonstrable skills required for the role.
- 8β12 years of post-silicon validation, system integration, or platform debug experience on shipped GPU, CPU, or SoC products.
- Hands-on debug depth across silicon, board, and software boundaries: logic design, signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), power delivery, high-speed I/O, and PVT behavior.
- Strong EE fundamentals in SI/PI, power delivery, and thermal; working understanding of GPU/CPU/SoC architecture and boot flows.
- Proven track record of taking ambiguous, multi-team failures to root-cause closure and delivering productized fixes.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling AI-driven validation workflows with team adoption and measurable improvements in debug velocity, coverage, or escape rate.
- Experience developing test automation, large-scale stress campaigns, and regression validation frameworks.
- Effective cross-functional leadership and communication skills for coordinating globally distributed teams and presenting technical risk to leadership.
Education Requirements
BTech/BE or MTech/ME in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
