Senior Strategic Technical Program Manager – Foundry Customer Programs
Role Summary
Lead and manage high-impact foundry customer programs, serving as the primary interface between strategic customers and internal cross-functional teams. Drive programs from initial engagement through production ramp, coordinating supply chain, manufacturing, product, and operations to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.
Experience Level
Senior. Minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor, foundry, or advanced manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
Accountable for end-to-end delivery and cross-functional alignment of strategic foundry customer engagements.
- Own program lifecycle from opportunity alignment through execution, ramp, and end-of-life.
- Serve as primary customer interface for milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Translate customer requirements into internal execution plans and priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (product, engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, finance, IT) to resolve technical and operational issues.
- Lead supply chain and operations integration: capacity planning, demand forecasting, logistics, and readiness.
- Identify risks and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation strategies.
- Establish governance, program tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement processes.
- Build trusted customer relationships and support escalation management.
Requirements
Must-have skills and experience for initial consideration; preferred items listed separately.
- 8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional customer programs in semiconductor, foundry, or advanced manufacturing.
- Proven program management skills with governance, tracking, and executive communication.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain ecosystems (fab, OSAT, logistics, planning).
- Experience driving cross-functional alignment and influencing without direct authority in matrixed organizations.
- Ability to identify technical and operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Experience with capacity planning, demand forecasting, and production ramp readiness.
- Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to advise on technical trade-offs and manufacturing considerations.
- Preferred: direct experience with foundry customers or fabless companies; familiarity with end-to-end silicon lifecycle.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is required. An advanced degree is preferred. (Education requirement listed by the employer.)
