Role Summary

Senior-level test engineering role focused on development and delivery of automated test systems (ATE) for analog, digital and mixed-signal integrated circuits with emphasis on power-management ICs (PMICs) and BMS-related products.

The role spans hands-on test program and hardware development, debugging of analog and mixed-signal products, and technical leadership across cross-functional teams to meet project schedules and quality targets.

Experience Level

Senior. The posting requests approximately 8–12+ years of experience in ATE/test engineering and related hands-on test development.

Responsibilities

Accountable for test strategy, development and delivery for IC products; lead technical efforts and coordinate with stakeholders.

• Design and develop ATE test programs for analog, digital and mixed-signal devices, with focus on PMIC/BMS testing.
• Develop and validate test hardware and fixtures; reduce PCB parasitics affecting measurements.
• Perform hands-on debugging and characterization of analog products using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers and ATE instruments.
• Collect, analyze and report test data to drive product decisions and yield improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship; coordinate across teams to set schedules and resolve priority conflicts.
• Troubleshoot and optimize serial-bus interfaced devices and measurement flows.
• Ensure test readiness, identify gaps and implement enablement actions to meet milestones.

Requirements

Minimum technical skills and hands-on experience required for the role.

• 8–12+ years of experience with Automated Test Systems (ATE) and ATE test development for analog, digital and mixed-signal ICs.
• Proven experience testing power-management ICs (PMICs) or similar analog power devices.
• Programming and scripting experience (C++, Perl, Python or equivalent) for test program development and automation.
• Practical experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers and ATE analog/digital instruments.
• Strong debug and troubleshooting skills for analog circuits and test systems; experience with PCB layout parasitic reduction.
• Hands-on experience developing test hardware and test program integration with ATE platforms.
• Ability to lead technical efforts and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
