Role Summary
Member of Arm's Front End design team in the Solution Engineering SoC organisation, responsible for specifying, designing and verifying complete subsystem solutions and reference platform designs for SoCs across market segments (automotive, mobile, server, edge/cloud AI).
Work spans RTL development, design-intent deliverables (SDC, UPF), IP integration and cross-team collaboration with verification and implementation to deliver optimized subsystem designs.

Responsibilities
Deliver and drive subsystem and testchip designs from specification through verification and implementation.
- Specify, design and verify subsystems and testchips (micro-architecture and design intent).
- Develop RTL and accompanying deliverables such as SDC and UPF.
- Integrate Arm and third-party IP; run static design checks and synthesis flows.
- Collaborate with verification teams on test plans and debug design issues.
- Work with implementation teams to optimize designs for performance, power and area.
- Plan tasks, track progress and report status to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and tooling experience.
- Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog or Verilog HDL for RTL design.
- Proven RTL design experience for complex SoC development.
- Experience with static design checks, power and clock-domain crossing (CDC) issues, and synthesis.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and systems fundamentals; practical experience with CPU, GPU, multimedia IP, interconnects, memory controllers and high-performance peripherals.
- Familiarity with UNIX environments and scripting (Python, Perl or shell).
- Ability to produce clear specifications and technical documentation.
Nice-to-have
- Exposure to Arm-based designs, Arm system architectures and AMBA standards.
- High-level programming experience (C/C++ and/or assembly).
- Experience on large-scale complex SoC projects.
- Functional Safety experience for automotive (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
