Responsibilities
Design and implement verification methodologies, tools, and infrastructure to support complex IP and SoC verification projects.
- Apply agentic AI techniques to accelerate verification: generate verification plans, testcases, coverage, and debug collateral.
- Implement reference and unified verification flows using tools such as VCS, Verdi, VMS Execution Manager, Verdi Planner (HVP), and VIPs.
- Build scalable verification infrastructures and validate flows for diverse digital designs.
- Collaborate with global engineering and tool-development teams to define and propagate verification best practices.
- Lead high-impact technical assignments and mentor junior engineers.
- Support customers and internal stakeholders by troubleshooting and optimizing verification processes.
Requirements
Core technical skills and experience required for the role.
- Hands-on IP/SoC verification experience with demonstrable technical contributions.
- Familiarity with Synopsys verification tools: VCS, Verdi, VMS Execution Manager, Verdi Planner (HVP), and VIPs.
- Strong programming/scripting skills (SystemVerilog, UVM, Tcl, Python or similar).
- Practical experience validating verification flows and infrastructure for complex digital designs.
- Ability to manage multiple technical projects independently and document/communicate methodologies across global teams.
- Experience mentoring or leading engineering teams and driving technical initiatives to completion.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with agentic AI EDA tools and specific agentic tools such as Cursor or VS Code co-pilot.
- Prior exposure to integrating AI-based workflows into verification flows.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering.
