Responsibilities
The role owns layout delivery and coordinates the layout team across project phases.
- Own chip/macro layout from planning through tape-out.
- Manage overall project schedule for layout deliverables, coordinating with design leads and layout managers.
- Represent layout on cross-functional project teams and lead layout contributors, including remote design teams.
- Define and enforce project-specific layout guidelines and best practices.
- Develop and maintain tooling, scripts, flow documentation, and training for the layout team.
- Perform top-level integration and ensure designs meet production requirements.
- Monitor tooling and process developments and propose improvements to the layout flow.
Requirements
