Lead analog layout for high-performance mixed-signal and high-speed connectivity ICs, including multi-GHz ADC/DAC, PLL/DLL, serial/parallel I/O, and clock distribution. Responsible for delivering tape-out-ready layouts and coordinating cross-functional integration for production chips.

Responsibilities

The role owns layout delivery and coordinates the layout team across project phases.

• Own chip/macro layout from planning through tape-out.
• Manage overall project schedule for layout deliverables, coordinating with design leads and layout managers.
• Represent layout on cross-functional project teams and lead layout contributors, including remote design teams.
• Define and enforce project-specific layout guidelines and best practices.
• Develop and maintain tooling, scripts, flow documentation, and training for the layout team.
• Perform top-level integration and ensure designs meet production requirements.
• Monitor tooling and process developments and propose improvements to the layout flow.

Requirements

Key technical skills and attributes required or strongly preferred.

• Must-have: Deep understanding of layout methodology from chip planning to tape-out.
• Must-have: Strong skills in parasitic-aware layout and optimization.
• Must-have: Proficiency interpreting Calibre DRC, ERC, LVS reports.
• Must-have: High-level proficiency with Synopsys or Cadence layout entry tools.
• Must-have: Strong technical and analytical problem-solving skills; effective team contributor; fluent in English.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with advanced process technologies and FinFET nodes.
• Nice-to-have: Programming/scripting experience (examples noted: SKILL, Ample, Perl).

Education Requirements
