Role Summary

Lead verification engineer for sensor integrated-circuit designs, focused on developing and maintaining efficient verification environments and workflows for automotive and industrial sensor signal conditioners. The role drives verification strategy, tool adoption, and team capability while collaborating with digital/analog design, architecture, and test engineering.

Senior — typically requires at least 10+ years of specific IC functional verification experience.

Responsibilities

Lead and execute verification activities to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of sensor IC projects.

• Plan and drive verification phases as verification lead, coordinating with verification engineers and cross-discipline teams.
• Design and implement complex verification environments, components, testcases, and regressions for IC designs.
• Develop analog block models and setups for analog/mixed-signal simulations and run co-simulations to validate models.
• Establish and enforce best practices for verification methodologies and reusable environments.
• Contribute to verification strategy to improve efficiency and meet schedule targets.
• Collaborate with digital/analog designers, architects, and test engineers to align verification with design activities.
• Mentor and train team members to raise team capability and productivity.
• Support selection of verification IP and evaluate/adopt new tools and workflows.
• Maintain and improve documentation and quality procedures related to verification activities.

• Must-have: Expert knowledge in functional verification of integrated circuits, including UVM and constrained-random methodologies with regression management.
• Must-have: At least 10 years of specific work experience in IC verification.
• Must-have: Proven experience developing and managing verification environments, components, and verification IP.
• Must-have: Significant experience in analog/mixed-signal modeling and verification and running co-simulations.
• Must-have: Basic knowledge of formal verification techniques and SystemVerilog assertions.
• Must-have: Experience with verification of designs that include MCUs and hardware/software co-simulation.
• Must-have: Experience working to automotive quality and functional-safety documentation practices (IATF 16949, ISO 26262).
• Must-have: Strong communication, documentation, mentoring skills; self-driven and able to work in multi-site, multicultural teams; fluent English.
• Nice-to-have: Technical publications/presentations; experience selecting verification IP and driving tool/workflow adoption to improve verification efficiency.

Education Requirements

Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; or comparable practical/industrial experience.
