Senior Staff, DFT Engineering
Role Summary
Lead DFT strategy and implementation for complex SoC designs. Drive test architecture and methodology, collaborate with design/verification/physical-implementation teams, and ensure high silicon testability and coverage.

Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
- Define and lead DFT strategy and implementation across complex SoCs.
- Drive architecture and methodology for scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST/LBIST, and boundary scan.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and physical implementation teams to ensure robust test coverage and manufacturability.
- Perform test-coverage analysis and optimization to improve silicon quality and yield.
- Mentor and guide engineers; promote best practices and process improvements.
- Provide technical leadership that influences product and program decisions.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- Proven DFT architecture and methodology expertise: scan insertion, ATPG, MBIST, LBIST, JTAG.
- Experience with commercial DFT tools such as Synopsys, Mentor Tessent, and Cadence Modus.
- RTL and verification languages: Verilog/SystemVerilog; scripting experience (TCL, Perl, Python).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and optimize test coverage for high-quality silicon.
- Proven track record mentoring engineers and leading technical teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in a technical leadership role and working with operating budgets or project financials.
- Prior responsibility for program-level decisions and cross-team coordination.
Education Requirements
