Role Summary

Join the Radeon Technologies Group front-end design and integration team to implement and verify design-for-test (DFT) architecture and features for GPU products. Work closely with architecture, IP design, physical design, and product engineering to achieve first-pass silicon success and support post-silicon bring-up and yield improvement.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include implementation and verification of DFT, ATPG pattern development, and post-silicon support.

• Implement and verify DFT architecture and features.
• Perform scan insertion and generate ATPG patterns.
• Verify ATPG patterns with gate-level simulation.
• Analyze test coverage and drive test-cost reduction activities.
• Provide post-silicon support for bring-up and yield learning.
• Collaborate with architecture, IP, physical design, and product engineering teams.

Requirements

Core technical skills and experience required for successful performance in this role.

• Proven experience in DFT verification and methodologies (IEEE1500, JTAG/1149.x, scan, memory BIST).
• Experience with scan insertion, ATPG pattern generation, and gate-level ATPG verification.
• Experience analyzing test coverage and reducing test cost.
• Post-silicon debug and yield-improvement experience.
• Hands-on experience with simulation and verification flows such as VCS; strong Verilog RTL skills.
• Proficient scripting skills (Perl, shell) for automation and flow development.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Mentor TestKompress and/or Synopsys Tetramax/DFTMAX.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
