Responsibilities
The key responsibilities include:
- Developing high-performance power switching device technology.
- Collaborating with process engineers on process flows and design rules.
- Executing TCAD simulation experiments to optimize design parameters.
- Setting up test methodologies and analyzing data for device optimization.
- Supporting engineering tasks for existing semiconductor products.
Requirements
The following qualifications are essential:
- Expertise in Semiconductor Device Physics / Solid State Physics.
- Experience with Semiconductor Device Process Integration.
- Proficient in TCAD process and device simulation (preferably Sentaurus).
- Conversational English and business-level proficiency in Japanese.
Additional qualifications include:
- Familiarity with product and test mask layout (preferably Cadence Virtuoso).
- Understanding of switched-mode power applications.
- Track record in Power MOSFET developments.
- Knowledge of device reliability physics and high voltage VDMOS engineering.
