Senior Staff Design Engineer
Role Summary
As a Senior Staff Digital IC Design Engineer you will join a small team developing high-speed digital IPs for data storage and customer computing, including signal processing and NAND flash controller IPs. The role focuses on RTL design, verification, timing and power optimization, and silicon bring-up.
Work closely with architecture, verification and system teams to deliver production-quality IP and support customer integration.
Experience Level
Senior — requires 10+ years of experience in digital IC design.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include design, verification, optimization and support of high-speed digital IPs.
- Architect, RTL design and implementation for digital IPs using SystemVerilog.
- Create and maintain verification environments; perform synthesis and static timing analysis.
- Timing closure, CDC checks, lint, and power analysis; optimize for performance and power.
- Participate in design reviews, author design documentation, and support user specifications.
- Debug silicon and support bring-up and customer integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and attributes.
- 10+ years of hands-on digital IC design experience.
- Proficient in RTL design and verification using SystemVerilog.
- Experience with synthesis, timing closure, static timing analysis, CDC verification, lint, and power analysis.
- Proven silicon debug and bring-up experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, teamwork, and architecture-level thinking.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field. The posting specifies a BSc/MSc with 10+ years of experience.
