Role Summary

Provide technical leadership and customer-facing support for Synopsys products focused on power integrity, signal integrity, and EMI/EMIR. The role supports customers through troubleshooting, demonstrations, and training while collaborating with product and engineering teams to resolve field issues and improve product capabilities.

Position is part of the Applications Engineering organization based in Bengaluru, India.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for customer issues related to power integrity, signal integrity, and EMI/EMIR.
• Lead product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and customer training sessions.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to reproduce, prioritize, and resolve field issues and influence product direction.
• Produce application notes, example flows, and best-practice documentation.
• Support sales and pre-sales activities including technical proposals and customer engagements.

Requirements

Must-have and preferred qualifications (based on role expectations):

• Must-have: Practical experience diagnosing complex power integrity, signal integrity, or EMI issues and supporting customers in these domains.
• Must-have: Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Must-have: Experience with EDA tools and workflows relevant to SI/PI/EMI investigations.
• Nice-to-have: Scripting or automation experience (for example Python, TCL) and familiarity with circuit or electromagnetic simulation tools.
• Nice-to-have: Experience working cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to drive issue resolution and product enhancements.
