Senior Staff Application Engineer - Design Verification
Role Summary
Provide technical application engineering and design verification expertise for Synopsys verification products in support of customers and internal teams. The role focuses on solving complex verification challenges, validating verification flows, and enabling successful deployment of verification solutions.
The position works closely with product engineering, sales, and customer design teams to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve verification issues and to drive adoption of best practices.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for design verification workflows.
- Collaborate with customers and internal engineering to reproduce and diagnose complex verification problems.
- Develop and validate verification flows, testbenches, and regression suites.
- Create technical documentation, examples, and training materials to support customers and partners.
- Deliver technical presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts to customer teams.
- Work with product and development teams to triage issues and drive product improvements.

- Must-have: Substantial experience in digital design verification and debugging; strong knowledge of verification methodologies and testbench architectures.
- Must-have: Proficiency with verification languages, scripting, and automation (examples: SystemVerilog/UVM, Python or similar).
- Must-have: Experience working directly with customers or cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Nice-to-have: Experience with industry EDA verification tools and simulation/debug environments.
- Nice-to-have: Experience creating technical collateral, conducting trainings, and delivering demos or POCs.
