Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities focus on silicon bring-up, validation, and customer support for high-speed mixed-signal IPs.
- Bring up and validate mixed-signal IP (e.g., UCIe) on customer platforms and internal test chips.
- Work closely with post-silicon validation, firmware, system, and design teams to resolve integration issues.
- Drive technical communication with customers from bring-up through production.
- Perform system-level debugging using software/firmware diagnostics and test tools.
- Use lab equipment (oscilloscopes, BERTs, protocol analyzers) as needed to analyze PHY performance.
- Occasional travel to customer sites or labs may be required.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience. Degree and years guidance moved to Education Requirements below.
- Proven debugging skills for firmware and system-level bring-up.
- Experience programming in C/C++ for embedded systems.
- Experience with Python for test automation and debugging.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in fast-paced development environments.
- Experience in ASIC design, verification, or post-silicon validation for high-speed interfaces (UCIe, DDR, PCIe, Ethernet).
Nice-to-have
- Experience with advanced process nodes (7nm, 5nm, 3nm, 2nm) and related bring-up challenges.
- Familiarity with system-level diagnostics and custom test frameworks.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is specified with corresponding experience requirements: Bachelor's + 6+ years, Master's + 5+ years, or PhD + 4+ years in Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design.
