Role Summary

The Senior Staff Analog Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer will be part of a specialized team focusing on the development of cutting-edge ADC based SerDes IPs for high-speed connectivity. This role involves designing complex CMOS transceiver and SERDES products.

Experience Level

Mid-level: 5-10 years of related professional experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing advanced CMOS transceiver and SERDES products.
  • Conducting architectural investigations and implementations for circuits such as PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, and CDRs.
  • Performing design verification utilizing industry-standard tools like SPICE, Spectre, and MATLAB.
  • Carrying out layout activities in nanometric technologies and supervising physical design.
  • Collaborating with test engineers in lab settings to validate designs.
  • Generating design-related documentation and application specifications.
  • Interfacing with digital and SoC teams for design integration.

Requirements

Key requirements for this position are:

  • Strong knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in designing mixed signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, and Filters.
  • Preferred high-speed ADC design experience.
  • Knowledge of low power and high-speed design techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, and Matlab.
  • Lab testing ability to assess prototypes against design specifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, along with 5-10 years of experience; Master’s degree or PhD with 3-5 years is a plus.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
