Senior Staff Analog Engineer
Role Summary
Serve as the principal analog design authority for PMIC and mixed-signal product lines, leading architecture, design, verification, and production readiness across the full development lifecycle. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with mentorship and cross-functional collaboration, including direct customer engagement and roadmap planning.
Experience Level
Senior-level - requires 12+ years in power management; 12–15 years preferred, with recent experience as a technical project lead.
Responsibilities
Lead technical and architectural efforts across analog/mixed-signal and PMIC projects; drive verification and production readiness.
- Lead design, simulation, and silicon verification of major analog/mixed-signal blocks and PMIC products from specification to production.
- Act as a global technical authority and primary contact for architecture decisions and design reviews.
- Collaborate with customers to define system requirements and deliver solutions meeting performance, area, and power targets.
- Define high-level verification plans, DFT strategy, and coordinate lab evaluation with applications and test teams.
- Mentor engineers and drive company-wide engineering methodology and process improvements.
- Support product roadmap planning and align technical direction with market trends and CMOS process evolution.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications and skills for successful performance in this role.
- Minimum 12 years experience in power management; proven record as a technical project lead on complex ICs within the last four years.
- Deep knowledge of CMOS power management circuits and practical experience with PMIC design.
- Proven ability to lead engineering initiatives, implement process improvements, and deliver under schedule pressure.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for cross-cultural teams and customer interactions.
- Proven ability to work independently as a technical lead while mentoring and fostering collaboration.
- High cross-cultural sensitivity and willingness to travel internationally on short notice.
- Nice to have: experience with DFT, high-level verification planning, lab evaluation, and strategic roadmap development.
Education Requirements
Degree-level qualification in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
