Role Summary

Join Qorvo's R&D software team to develop integrated software tools that improve design methodologies, accelerate result visualization, and automate engineering processes.

This is an onsite role based in Barcelona, with an expectation of five days per week on-site presence; candidates must have the legal right to work in Spain.

Experience Level

Senior — typically 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Deliver software features and tools across the full software lifecycle and support internal users.

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software to meet project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Deploy and maintain software tools, processes, and metrics.
• Provide debugging, troubleshooting, and support to internal customers.
• Document designs, code, and operational procedures.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and attributes.

• Proficient in Python and C++.
• Strong object-oriented design and familiarity with design patterns.
• Experience with SCRUM/Agile development processes.
• Experience across the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, prototyping, coding, testing, documentation, and maintenance.
• Version control experience (Git, Perforce).
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills; solid understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficient in English and able to work effectively in a team.

Nice-to-have:

• Docker and containerization experience.
• Oracle/SQL, shell or batch scripting experience.
• UI development experience (Qt or similar).
• Familiarity with IDEs such as PyCharm or Visual Studio.
• Background in electromagnetics or physics.
• Experience using AI coding agents and unit testing.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field; 5+ years of professional experience, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and experience.
