Role Summary

Join the Simulation development team to design and implement NIC and switch simulation features. The role works closely with software R&D, architects, chip design and firmware teams to deliver advanced networking simulation solutions and virtualization-based features.

Responsibilities

The position focuses on developing and maintaining simulation software for NICs and switches. Key responsibilities include:

• Design and implement advanced simulation features for switches and NICs.
• Develop solutions using virtualization technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable C/C++ code.
• Collaborate with software R&D, architects, chip design and firmware teams.
• Own features end-to-end, from design through delivery and maintenance.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and expectations:

• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficient in C and C++.
• Strong design, coding, debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take full ownership and deliver end-to-end.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Familiarity with networking protocols (Ethernet, InfiniBand).
• Experience with virtualization, especially KVM/QEMU.
• Linux or Windows kernel and driver development experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and work independently.

Education Requirements

B.Sc. degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (explicitly stated as B.Sc. or equivalent experience in the source).
