Senior Software Engineer - GPU Server

Role Summary

Develop system-level software, validation tools, and diagnostics for next-generation GPU and high-performance computing servers. Work with architecture, hardware, and driver teams to design and deliver software infrastructure that validates new chips and product features.

Experience Level

Senior level; posting requests 3+ years of experience in a related hardware/software role.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include designing and building software and test infrastructure to validate GPU and compute products.

• Collaborate with architecture, hardware and driver teams across the product development lifecycle.
• Design and implement software tools and infrastructure for chip development, validation, and productization.
• Assess new hardware features and develop manufacturing diagnostic tests using pre-release CUDA and OpenGL extensions.
• Apply OS, algorithms, and computer-architecture knowledge to create robust, efficient validation and test solutions.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience; nice-to-have items listed separately.

• 3+ years experience in a related hardware/software position.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Familiarity with PC architecture and working close to hardware.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; experience with system software and OS fundamentals.
• Ability to self-manage, demonstrate leadership, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Nice-to-have: experience with PCIe, NVLink, InfiniBand, Ethernet, or server product technologies; prior work on large system-software codebases.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field — or equivalent practical experience.
