Senior Software Engineer, Attestation Services - DGX Cloud
NVIDIAJob Title
Senior Software Engineer, Attestation Services - DGX Cloud
Role Summary
As part of DGX Cloud Attestation & Trust Services, you will build and operate attestation cloud services, verifiers, SDK/CLI integrations, APIs, and customer-hosted trust capabilities that verify the integrity and security posture of GPUs, firmware, and platform components before sensitive workloads run.
NVIDIA develops industry-leading AI, high-performance computing, and visualization technology used across many industries.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 5+ years of production software development experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver and maintain reliable, secure attestation services and related developer tooling.
- Design, implement, test, and operate verification flows, SDKs, CLI tools, and customer-hosted capabilities for new devices and platform generations.
- Own well-scoped projects end-to-end: turn incomplete requirements into design, maintainable code, automated tests, safe rollout, telemetry, and production support.
- Improve reliability and security: manage dependency failures, retries, idempotency, caching, data stores, authentication, revocation freshness, compatibility, graceful degradation, and release validation.
- Build test fixtures, conformance tooling, and automation to keep local and remote verification behavior consistent and catch regressions.
- Drive root-cause analysis using logs, traces, telemetry, and targeted experiments; collaborate on cross-system issues.
- Participate in design and code reviews, document work, mentor junior engineers, and join a rotating on-call schedule.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and responsibilities:
- 5+ years developing production software (backend services, distributed systems, systems software, SDKs, infrastructure platforms, or customer-facing APIs).
- Strong programming and debugging in C++, Rust, or Go; ability and interest to work across languages.
- Solid computer-science fundamentals and practical knowledge of Linux, networking, APIs, concurrency, data stores, caching, and software testing.
- Proven experience owning a feature or component through design, testing, deployment, observability, production debugging, and maintenance.
- Willingness to participate in primary on-call rotation and own production services through incident response and durable fixes.
Nice-to-have / ways to stand out:
- Experience with Kubernetes, major cloud providers, distributed-system failure handling, observability, SLOs, safe deployments, resilience testing, or incident response.
- Experience developing SDKs, verifiers, agents, proxies, customer-hosted software, offline systems, distributed caches, device-enablement frameworks, or hardware/software integration components.
- Familiarity with PKI, TLS/mTLS, certificates, signing, revocation (OCSP/CRL), authentication/authorization, secrets management, secure boot, or hardware roots of trust.
- Interest or experience in attestation and confidential computing (TPMs, DICE, SPDM, IETF RATS, EAT, CoRIM, Intel TDX/SGX, AMD SEV-SNP, Arm CCA, HSMs, or GPU attestation).
- Experience hardening software that processes untrusted input: threat modeling, fuzzing, negative testing, memory/concurrency safety, dependency controls, artifact signing, or supply-chain practices.
Education Requirements
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
