Role Summary

Join the Engineering Data Analytics and Applications (EDAAP) team to design and implement enterprise software and analytics solutions used across the chipset design lifecycle. The role focuses on building full‑stack, reusable components and integrations for hardware engineering teams.

The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, improving operational processes, ensuring software quality, and mentoring junior developers.

Experience Level

Senior-level. Minimum guideline: 3+ years IT-relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 5+ years without a degree); ideal candidates have ~6+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.

Responsibilities

Primary duties include designing, building, and maintaining enterprise software and analytics tools that support chipset engineering workflows.

• Design and develop high-quality, reusable components, libraries, and full-stack applications.
• Perform comprehensive code reviews to ensure maintainability and best practices.
• Conduct systems analysis and recommend operational and procedural improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to diagnose and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Apply software lifecycle management practices including version control and CI/CD.

Requirements

• Must-have: Several years of full-stack application development experience (backend and frontend) using languages such as Python, Java/J2EE, and web technologies.
• Must-have: Practical knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and data stores.
• Must-have: Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and working on Linux systems.
• Must-have: Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development processes.
• Must-have: Strong communication skills and experience working in distributed teams.
• Nice-to-have: Frontend frameworks and libraries such as Angular or React; visualization libraries (D3, Highcharts).
• Nice-to-have: Experience with Rust, NoSQL databases (Redis, MongoDB), and search frameworks (Lucene/Solr/Elasticsearch).
• Nice-to-have: Messaging and integration technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Apache Camel, Spring Integration).
• Nice-to-have: Experience in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), web sockets/service workers, HPC systems, and AI/ML technologies.

Education Requirements

Minimum qualifications state either: a Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems) with 3+ years of IT-relevant experience, or 5+ years of IT-relevant experience without a Bachelor's.
