Role Summary

Join the Xcelium Compiler Team to design and implement compiler architecture and infrastructure for HDL simulation and related tools. The role focuses on rearchitecting compiler subsystems for runtime and memory efficiency and delivering key product capabilities.

Collaborate with senior architects on strategic architectural and infrastructural initiatives that shape future simulation technologies.

Senior; 15+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

The candidate will lead architecture and delivery for compiler and simulation subsystems. Key responsibilities include:

• Architect efficient software solutions with attention to time and memory complexity.
• Own architecture for major compiler subsystems and drive their design.
• Implement advanced compiler algorithms and profile/analyze implementations to improve performance and memory usage.
• Drive delivery of key product capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to customer success at strategic accounts and support technical engagements.
• Collaborate with senior architects on next-generation architectural initiatives.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience:

• 15+ years of experience in compiler development, HDL simulation, or related fields.
• Deep expertise in compiler architecture or HDL simulation.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and solid software engineering practices.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and databases.
• Experience with compilers: parsing, code generation, static elaboration, and event-driven or parallel simulation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and proven problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or closely related technical field).
