Role Overview

The Senior SoC Integration Engineer will work within the SoC Physical Integration team, collaborating with various engineering groups to ensure effective integration and verification of AMD's SoC FPGA/ACAP devices.

Experience Level

This position requires a mid-career level of expertise in electrical engineering, specifically in FPGA architecture and related tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop methodologies for chip-level integration.
  • Create tools for design verification to enhance efficiency.
  • Design, verify, and integrate FPGA/ACAP sub-blocks.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering teams to facilitate seamless integration.
  • Execute chip-level physical and electrical verification processes.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a basic understanding of FPGA architecture, experience with design and verification tools (such as Virtuoso and Calibre), and knowledge of Place and Route (P&R) tools. Candidates must demonstrate strong debugging skills and scripting knowledge in languages such as Perl, Python, and TCL.

Education Requirements

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, coupled with relevant FPGA work experience, is required.
