Senior SoC Integration Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior SoC Integration Engineer will lead complex integration tasks within the semiconductor design sector, focusing on CPU integration and system-level consistency. This role involves collaboration across multiple teams to ensure first silicon success.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading top-level SoC integration encompassing CPU subsystems and peripheral IPs.
• Owning SoC RTL integration, lint/CDC/RC checking, and timing closure support.
• Defining and maintaining SoC-level interfaces and integration specifications.
• Collaborating with architecture and design teams for seamless IP integration.
• Integrating and validating CPU cores and resolving related issues.
• Collaborating with DFT teams to integrate necessary test structures.
• Working with various teams throughout the chip development cycle.
• Mentoring junior engineers and improving integration flows and methodologies.

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (Ph.D. is a plus).
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor SoC and CPU subsystem integration.
• Expertise in CPU IP integration (ARM, ARC, RISC‑V) and DFT integration.
• Proficiency in RTL design, lint, CDC, and related methodologies.
• Solid understanding of SoC architecture and bus protocols.
• Familiarity with simulation and silicon debugging tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and capability in driving complex technical issues.

Education Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. Ph.D. is a plus.
