Senior Silicon Security Architect
Role Summary
Technical leader responsible for defining, designing, and implementing silicon and firmware security architecture for next-generation networking SoC products. The role is hands-on and requires collaboration with hardware, firmware, software, research, product teams and external partners to meet security requirements.

Senior β 7+ years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
Core responsibilities include:
- Research, design, develop and implement hardware and software architecture solutions to meet internal and external security standards.
- Apply and integrate hardware security primitives to enable secure software extensions.
- Design production and provisioning systems for secure SoC deployment.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams on open-source and proprietary implementations.
- Define and secure IO interfaces and platform boot architectures (USB, I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, PCIe).
- Perform architectural modeling, microarchitectural definition and validation to enable trusted platforms.
- Work with customers and partners to identify, triage and mitigate security threats.
Requirements
Required skills and experience (must-haves listed first):
- 7+ years of relevant experience in silicon security, firmware or SoC design.
- Experience designing production and provisioning systems for SoC platforms.
- Practical experience with key management systems and HSM operation.
- Hands-on experience with IO interfaces: I2C, I3C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe.
- Experience with computing platform boot architecture in embedded devices and servers.
- Knowledge of RISC-V architecture, root-of-trust concepts, and security processors.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and low-level firmware development.
- Understanding of security-by-design hardware principles and privilege models.
- Programming and debugging experience in Verilog, Python/Perl scripting, ARM assembly, and C/C++.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work in cross-functional teams.
Education Requirements
BSc, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
