Job Title

Senior Silicon Product Engineer 6 Manufacturing

Role Summary

Join NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group on the Testability, Manufacturability, Reliability & Quality (TMRQ) team. This role designs and implements system-level test (SLT) diagnostics and production test flows to validate silicon features, improve yield and quality, and enable high-volume manufacturing ramp.

Work cross-functionally with hardware, software, and production operations to translate product requirements into effective manufacturing test coverage and to optimize test time, cost, and quality.

Experience Level

Senior-level role - requires 8+ years of relevant experience in post-silicon validation or high-volume manufacturing testing for SoCs, GPUs, CPUs, or similar products.

Responsibilities

Accountable for SLT production diagnostics, test coverage, and post-silicon validation in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

  • Define SLT production coverage, test conditions, content, and flows with HW, SW, platform, and production teams.
  • Co-design and implement SLT testability scope and coverage enhancements for HVM screens.
  • Prototype and tune speed, power, circuit, and test conditions to maximize silicon coverage in socketed SLT environments.
  • Develop and maintain SLT test flows and correlate production results to silicon characterization and yield data.
  • Support post-silicon bring-up, lab debug, and correlation activities; define procedures for production-to-characterization alignment.
  • Support customer-facing and quality teams during escalations to identify gaps and fixes in SLT coverage.
  • Drive test-time optimization, manufacturability trade-offs, and cost vs. coverage decisions.
  • Initiate process improvements and preventive actions through root-cause analysis and data analytics.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

  • 8+ years owning post-silicon PVT validation and/or high-volume manufacturing test strategy for complex SoCs, GPUs, or CPUs.
  • Hands-on lab experience with silicon bring-up, lab debug, test content bring-up, and correlation to characterization and yield.
  • Strong EE fundamentals: device physics, STA concepts, signal integrity, fault analysis, sampling, and computer architecture.
  • Experience with Python, Bash, Linux, and scripting for test infrastructure and data analysis.
  • Good understanding of firmware/driver structures and their interaction with hardware.
  • Proven ability to drive multi-functional alignment and define sign-off criteria.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and data analysis skills; experience with volume test data preferred.

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with GPUs, CPUs, AI accelerators, or other large-scale SoCs.
  • Track record of co-designing or leading production methodologies adopted across teams in HVM.
  • Practical use of AI tools to accelerate production testing and debug workflows.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Microelectronics, Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering or a related technical field; or equivalent practical experience.
