Role Summary

The Senior Signal and Power Integrity Engineer will work in a dynamic team focused on designing and optimizing signal and power integrity solutions for high-performance AI systems and graphic cards. This role involves collaboration with various teams to enhance power delivery networks and ensuring system performance.

Experience Level

Senior, with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing creative signal and power integrity solutions to complex design problems.
  • Conducting system-level power integrity simulations for AI systems and graphics hardware.
  • Collaborating with VLSI power teams and design teams for power delivery optimization.
  • Creating and reviewing package and board PDN guidelines.
  • Working cross-functionally to optimize mixed signal circuits and PCBs.

Requirements

Qualifications include:

  • MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong background in applied electromagnetics and transmission line theory.
  • Experience in core or I/O power integrity management.
  • Knowledge of decoupling techniques impacting power supply noise.
  • Familiarity with power integrity modeling tools, including SIMPLIS and ANSYS.
  • Hands-on experience with 3D modeling tools like ANSYS HFSS/Q3D is preferable.

Education Requirements

MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
