Senior RTL Integration Engineer

Role Summary

Lead system-level RTL integration for NVIDIA's NIC Silicon FullChip team in the Networking business unit. The role ensures complex RTL builds are integrated into a cohesive, high-performance network adapter chip and that system-level performance and quality targets are met.

Work cross-functionally with unit-level designers, Physical Design, CAD, Software, and DFT teams to resolve integration issues, drive build automation, and maintain integration tooling.

Experience Level

Senior — minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Lead integration of complex RTL builds into a cohesive, production-quality chip.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (unit design, Physical Design, CAD, Software, DFT) to identify and resolve integration issues.
• Validate builds meet quality, timing, and performance requirements.
• Develop, maintain, and improve integration scripts, tools, and automation for RTL builds.
• Participate in build reviews and provide actionable feedback to improve build efficiency and quality.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Proven experience in front-end integration and RTL build workflows.
• Experience with connectivity/debugging tools used in RTL integration.
• Strong coding/scripting skills (Python or equivalent).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing integration issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work across teams and build consensus.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in verification methodologies.
• Prior experience with RTL build automation.

Education Requirements

BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. The posting specifies a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience as an alternative to formal degree requirements.
