Senior RFIC Validation Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for validation of RF blocks in connectivity products, ensuring key product indicators (KPIs) from the system compliance matrix are met. Works with design and architecture teams to measure and validate RF block-level parameters, correlate ATE and bench results, and enable tape-out and production readiness.

Experience Level

Senior - 3–5 years experience in semiconductor validation (RF/System), product engineering, or silicon debug.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include planning and executing validation programs for RF transceiver blocks and communicating results to design teams and leadership.

• Validate transceiver blocks: PA, PPA, Mixer, LNA, ADC, etc.
• Develop and execute test plans, coverage models, and sign-off criteria.
• Measure RF block parameters and assess their impact on system KPIs.
• Drive ATE and bench correlation and lab bring-up activities.
• Implement and maintain test automation; analyze and summarize test results.
• Collaborate with IP design teams to debug silicon issues.
• Own validation readiness for tape-out, risk production, and mass production.
• Set validation goals and KPIs; provide regular updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• 3–5 years in semiconductor validation (RF/System), product engineering, or silicon debug.
• Hands-on experience with RF lab equipment: spectrum analyzers, VNAs, oscilloscopes, RF signal generators.
• Experience with lab bring-up and silicon debug tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, scopes).
• Practical experience in test automation and data analysis to summarize results for design teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present updates to senior leadership.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering (or a related technical field).
