Senior RF/Analog Analysis and Characterization Engineer

Role Summary

Responsible for pre- and post-silicon analysis, characterization, bring-up and debugging of RF and analog circuit blocks to ensure they meet functional and performance specifications. Works with system and block-level designers to define tests, correlate measurements to specifications, and deliver documented results.

Based in Athens; tasks include lab bring-up, test automation, statistical analysis and formal documentation of block and system performance.

Experience Level

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Plan and execute pre- and post-silicon evaluation and characterization of RF and analog blocks and systems.
• Define test plans, key parameters, measurement methods and correlation between simulation and silicon.
• Bring up chips in the lab and perform performance evaluation and debugging.
• Implement RF/analog driver definitions and fixes; support design teams with mitigations.
• Develop automation, tooling and data-collection workflows for analysis and debugging.
• Analyze measurement statistics and produce formal datasheet parameters and documentation.
• Optimize silicon system performance and resolve complex silicon issues.

Requirements

Must-have skills and experience:

• Experience in RF/Analog system design or chip design (posting indicates >3 years).
• Hands-on experience with Cadence Virtuoso (schematics and layout).
• Extensive experience with RF/analog test equipment and laboratory measurements.
• Proven ability to debug and resolve complex silicon issues.
• Strong written and spoken English and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Team player who can mentor colleagues and work across teams; able to set and meet goals and deadlines.

Nice-to-have:

• Ability to propose innovative technical solutions.
• Experience with test automation and statistical data-analysis tools.
