Senior Reliability Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Reliability Engineer will define and execute reliability strategies for electronic packaging, GPU modules, servers, data center and automotive products. You will collaborate with package development, operations, and external labs to develop test plans, reliability methodologies, and lead failure analysis to improve product robustness.

Experience Level

Senior β€” the posting requires a minimum of 4 years of reliability engineering experience, with demonstrated work on electronic packaging and modules.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include designing and running reliability programs, coordinating analysis, and ensuring products meet reliability targets.

  • Develop reliability test plans for GPUs, servers, data center, and automotive products in collaboration with component, package, and operations teams.
  • Create new reliability methodologies and modeling for IC packages and GPU modules for new applications.
  • Evaluate and improve reliability of mechanical components and thermal cooling solutions.
  • Coordinate and execute packaging reliability testing in internal and external laboratories.
  • Lead failure analysis and coordinate root-cause investigations across cross-functional and external teams.

Requirements

Clear, demonstrable technical experience and independent execution are required.

Must-have:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in reliability engineering related to electronic packaging and modules.
  • Hands-on experience with electronic packaging, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
  • Experience with reliability modeling tools relevant to advanced AI applications.
  • Understanding of reliability requirements for various IC packages.
  • Proficiency with DfR and/or FEA tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead failure analysis and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-have:

  • Proven track record developing reliability methodologies for novel applications.
  • Experience with recent thermal cooling technologies.
  • Leadership experience coordinating cross-functional teams.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in physical engineering, mechanical, materials, electrical engineering, or a related technical field β€” or equivalent practical experience.
