Senior Regional Application Engineer

Role Summary

The Senior Regional Application Engineer will collaborate with sales, marketing and engineering teams to grow and accelerate the Business Group ICS design pipeline across Europe. The role provides technical support to customers, builds relationships with design engineers and contributes technical content and market-facing activities to increase product adoption.

Experience Level

Senior — typically requires at least 5 years of design or application engineering experience.

Responsibilities

Support customer design activity and marketing efforts to expand ICS product adoption in Europe.

• Collaborate with Account Managers, Business Development, FAEs, distributors and sales to grow the ICS design pipeline.
• Act as an expert on relevant BG ICS products and roadmaps.
• Provide technical support, training and engineering assistance to customers and partners.
• Develop trusted relationships with design engineers directly and through distributors.
• Represent the company at customer events and seek speaker opportunities.
• Promote and support advanced tools: models, evaluation systems and technical documentation.
• Create application schematics, demo boards and simulations.
• Produce technical content to raise awareness among design engineering communities.
• Coordinate with RAE teams across business groups to align promotion of the product portfolio.

Requirements

Must have

• Deep understanding of analog ICs and power-management ICs and typical design challenges.
• Experience in automotive, server, industrial or commercial applications.
• Familiarity with electronic product design processes, component selection and qualification.
• Basic data analysis, visualization and interpretation skills.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills; proven analytical problem-solving ability.
• Excellent English and good German language skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Nice to have

• Experience specifically in power-management technologies.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering or another related discipline. The posting notes that required experience may vary depending on educational credentials.
