Senior Quality Lab Engineer (m/w/d)
Role Summary
The Senior Quality Lab Engineer designs, implements and maintains reliability test methods, test equipment and related peripherals to verify product qualification requirements. The role works closely with product qualification engineering and R&D to meet defined reliability and qualification objectives.

Responsibilities
The role owns delivery of reliability test systems and related activities, from technical definition to operation and reporting.
- Define and develop reliability test systems and associated electronic test boards.
- Perform electrical and reliability testing, including lifetime stress tests such as DHTOL.
- Set up test environments and required circuitry for qualification testing.
- Lead work packages or projects: align technically with suppliers, manage risks, schedule, quality and cost, and prepare stakeholder reports.
- Ensure test equipment meets relevant standards, health & safety, and remains user-friendly and operational.
- Provide and maintain documentation (work instructions, manuals) and train operational staff.
- Participate in continuous improvement, FMEA, calibrations and other quality-supporting activities.
- Oversee service, maintenance and after-care activities for test equipment.
Requirements

- Must-have: Experience with measurement parameters and test equipment for characterization and reliability testing of SiC and GaN devices.
- Experience in analogue and digital circuit design.
- Software programming skills: C, Python, LabVIEW or similar.
- Understanding of industry quality standard AEC-Q101.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills; fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency with standard office tools and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Preferred / Nice-to-have: Practical experience with reliability test methods such as HTRB, H3TRB, HTGB, DHTOL.
Education Requirements
Master's degree in Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
