Senior QA Engineer (Full-Stack, Automation-Heavy)
Role Summary
Full-stack QA role focused on automated test development and end-to-end feature quality for the Renesas 365 / Altium software platform. The role validates web UI and API features, maintains automated scenarios, and supports regression and release testing.
Works within the engineering team and collaborates with the dedicated AQA team and CI/CD owners to run and debug pipelines and ensure production readiness.
Experience Level
Mid-level — typically requires 4+ years of QA engineering experience.
Responsibilities
The engineer owns feature quality end-to-end and implements and maintains automated test coverage.
- Own feature quality across UI and API from design through release.
- Write and maintain automated tests using existing tools and suites (Selenium WebDriver, Reqnroll/BDD, Playwright).
- Ensure and expand test coverage for features; maintain and extend automated scenarios.
- Participate in regression and release testing and troubleshoot failures.
- Run and debug tests within CI pipelines; collaborate on pipeline-related issues.
- Work with the AQA team on framework usage and test practices.
Requirements
Must-have technical skills and experience:
- 4+ years as a QA engineer with hands-on testing experience.
- Experience with automated testing using established frameworks and tools.
- Ability to read and write test code; C# preferred.
- Experience testing web applications (UI and API).
- Understanding of test design, coverage, and quality metrics.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Playwright.
- Experience with GraphQL APIs.
- Domain experience in EDA, electronics, or CAD.
- Experience in desktop application testing.
