Senior Project/Program Management Specialist — Foundry Process Technology (Japanese/English/Mandarin)

Role Summary

This role in the Operations Engineering Division leads the enablement of front-end wafer process technologies at internal and external foundries (primarily HV/BCD for power applications; may include Mixed-Signal and RF). The position is responsible for project planning, cross-site coordination, and delivering technology enablement to support design and production teams.

Reports into Project Management and works with foundries, internal design/operation teams and external customers to ensure milestones, risks, and customer commitments are met.

Experience Level

Senior — requires at least 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities focus on planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination for process technology enablement projects.

  • Lead multi-site/global project teams for front-end wafer process technology enablement.
  • Own the project end-to-end and act as the single point of contact for internal teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed project plans and schedules.
  • Drive project contributors to meet critical milestones and customer commitments.
  • Coordinate and track actions with external suppliers (foundries).
  • Identify program risks and define/track mitigation actions.
  • Report progress and issues to key stakeholders, including external customers.

Requirements

  • Must-have: Minimum 3+ years' experience in the semiconductor industry with hands-on program/project management of process enablement activities.
  • Must-have: Proven ability to lead multi-site teams and drive cross-functional contributors without direct authority.
  • Must-have: Experience coordinating with external foundries and suppliers and managing supplier deliverables.
  • Must-have: Working understanding of foundry process technologies, semiconductor production processes, and interactions with product design.
  • Must-have: Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication; fluency in English, Japanese, and Mandarin.
  • Nice-to-have: Direct experience with HV/BCD process technologies, Mixed-Signal or RF processes, or prior customer-facing program management in semiconductor manufacturing.

Education Requirements

Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field. Prior project management training or certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is mentioned by the employer.
