Senior Project/Program Management Specialist - Foundry Process Technology

Role Summary

Manage and lead multi-site projects to enable front-end wafer process technologies at external and internal foundries, primarily for HV/BCD power, Mixed-Signal, and RF processes. The role coordinates technical, manufacturing, and design stakeholders to deliver process enablement milestones.

This position sits within Operations Engineering / Project Management and is the primary internal contact for assigned process enablement projects.

Experience Level

Senior β€” requires prior project management experience and at least 3 years in the semiconductor industry.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include full project ownership, cross-site coordination, and risk tracking for foundry process enablement.

  • Lead and coordinate multi-site project teams across global locations for front-end wafer process enablement.
  • Own project plans: develop, maintain, and execute schedules and deliverables for new technology enablement.
  • Drive contributors and suppliers (foundries) to meet critical milestones and customer commitments.
  • Track and manage actions, issues, and risks; define and monitor mitigation plans.
  • Serve as the main internal contact for project-related inquiries from design, operations, and other teams.
  • Report project progress to key stakeholders, including external customers as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical and interpersonal qualifications for effective project delivery.

  • 3+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Practical understanding of foundry process technologies, semiconductor production processes, tools, and their interaction with product design.
  • Experience in project management and driving cross-functional teams (hands-on project leadership).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English, Japanese, and Mandarin is required.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, materials science, or a related technical field. Project management training or certification is noted as relevant (examples given: PMP, Prince2).
