Senior program manager responsible for planning, tracking and delivering software related to power, performance, and thermal across Qualcomm SoC products. Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include program planning, execution, and stakeholder communication for power/performance/thermal software across multiple teams and product segments.

  • Define and maintain program plan of record; prioritize work and optimize schedules across teams.
  • Drive requirements scoping, dependency analysis, staffing and schedule optimization.
  • Establish and enforce execution discipline: risk identification, mitigation, tracking, and recovery actions.
  • Develop program health indicators, monitor quality and timelines, and produce executive reporting.
  • Coordinate across software, hardware, HLOS, modem, connectivity, multimedia and business stakeholders.
  • Integrate multiple plans and deliverables across distributed development sites.

Requirements

Key must-have and preferred skills and experience (education listed separately below).

  • Must-have: Extensive program/project management experience handling complex, cross-disciplinary engineering programs; demonstrated experience with Agile planning and program execution.
  • Must-have: Domain experience in Semiconductor or Wireless/Telecommunications (experience level cited as 8+ years in domain).
  • Must-have: Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams and using reporting/presentation tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA, Tableau, bug/issue/resource trackers).
  • Must-have: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience with risk management and stakeholder reporting.
  • Nice-to-have: Experience in Automotive domain, ASPICE process and Functional Safety.
  • Nice-to-have: PMP certification preferred.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required (examples listed: Bachelor of Engineering/Technology in EE, ECE, CS). The posting also cites B.E./B.Tech or equivalent engineering degrees. PMP certification is noted as preferred.
