Senior Production Test Validation
Role Summary
Join the Interconnect validation team within Product Engineering to own end-to-end validation for NVIDIA networking products. The role focuses on designing lab setups and test topologies, building and integrating automated and manual tests into production lines, debugging HW and SW failures, and driving defect resolution.
Experience Level
Senior - the role requires experienced candidates. The posting requests 5+ years of validation and system engineering experience.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with engineering, software, and hardware teams to define test requirements.
- Define and build lab/setup topologies to ensure product coverage.
- Create validation plans and implement/integrate tests for new interconnect products.
- Debug software and hardware failures during validation and drive remediation.
- Report, reproduce, and follow up on bugs to closure.
- Deploy validation into nightly automation and track results in daily meetings.
Requirements
Must-have qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in validation and system engineering.
- Hands-on experience with nightly runs and automated test frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving, quantitative analysis, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently, plan work, and take ownership to completion.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficient in written and spoken English.
- Experience validating both hardware and software applications.
Nice-to-have:
- Hardware validation experience and Design for Test (DFT) knowledge.
- Post-silicon validation experience.
- Experience with production lines and hardware manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on Linux experience and programming in Python or C#.
- Data analysis experience.
Education Requirements
B.A./B.Sc. in Engineering Science or equivalent practical experience.
