Role Summary
The Senior Product Engineer will support launch and mass production of NVIDIA datacenter GPU systems (HGX/DGX) by defining test requirements, establishing production processes, and driving yield and quality improvements across manufacturing sites.
This role partners with NPI, design, quality, and contract manufacturers to optimize assembly, test coverage, throughput, cost and reliability for large-scale GPU-based systems.
Experience Level
Senior β typically 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
Responsibilities
Accountable for moving new GPU system products from NPI to high-volume production and for continuous process and test improvements.
- Coordinate with NPI teams and contract manufacturers to plan production ramps and define assembly/test line configurations.
- Define and deliver system-level manufacturing test specifications to meet HW coverage, quality, yield, and DPPM targets.
- Recommend and enforce DFx practices impacting layout, mechanical assembly, and signal integrity.
- Analyze volume test and field data; develop workarounds and corrective actions to resolve yield and test failures.
- Drive alternate component qualifications and BOM updates when needed.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce test time, waste and improve throughput and product quality.
- Support customer escalations and collaborate with quality teams to close coverage and root-cause gaps.
