Senior Product Engineer

Role Summary

Senior Product Engineer responsible for product engineering and yield management of NVIDIA Interconnect products (optical AOC/transceivers). The role coordinates cross-functional engineering, manufacturing partners, and validation teams to ensure product reliability, manufacturability, and scale.

Experience Level

Senior level — typically 5+ years of relevant product development experience.

Responsibilities

Manage product engineering activities across design, build, validation, and manufacturing to meet quality and yield targets.

• Oversee engineering implementation and maintenance for Interconnect products (AOC/transceivers).
• Drive yield management and define methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
• Implement product change control, build management, and failure analysis workflows.
• Coordinate corrective actions across hardware build, validation, software, and product engineering teams.
• Develop manufacturing partners’ capabilities with focus on scalability and yield reporting.
• Support cross-site collaboration and work with international manufacturing/validation sites.
• Travel to partner sites and factories as required.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and experience.

• 5+ years experience in product development, specifically with AOC/transceivers.
• Deep technical knowledge in hardware and/or software engineering for optical product development.
• Experience with high-precision connector/interconnect build, manufacturing, and testing.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with advanced data analytics tools.
• Proven problem-solving ability and effective teamwork in cross-functional environments.
• Ability to work across sites and cultures; professional written and spoken English.

Nice-to-have:

• Software programming experience (Linux, Python).
• Proficiency in spoken Chinese.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Optoelectronic Science and Technology, Optical Information Science and Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
