Senior Product Architect

Role Summary

Define and design GPU- and SoC-based products and drive hardware and software feature improvements through cross-functional collaboration with ASIC, system, and software teams. Work spans product definition, architecture, and execution for markets such as automotive, robotics, industrial PC, consumer electronics, and medical devices.

Experience Level

Senior-level. 6+ years of experience in product architecture for chips, platforms, and hardware optimization.

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include product architecture, cross-team coordination, and driving issues to resolution to meet cost, performance, and schedule targets.

  • Participate in product definition, positioning, architecture, and execution for GPU- and SoC-based products across multiple end markets.
  • Define product architecture and provide guidance to design engineers on topologies and implementations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to balance product cost, performance, and schedule trade-offs.
  • Drive resolution of technical issues and bugs that block schedule completion.

Requirements

Must-have technical skills and abilities; preferred items noted where applicable.

  • Proven experience in product architecture for chip/platform/hardware optimization (history of leading industry solutions).
  • Strong analytical skills and technical depth; ability to dig into detailed technical issues and justify solutions to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Practical experience with PCB design and product-level hardware considerations.
  • Experience with DFx (design for cost, test, manufacturing), schematic review, PCB layout, and signal integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across algorithms, software, hardware micro-architecture, and silicon design teams.
  • Preferred: experience with factory manufacturing processes and driving manufacturability improvements.

Education Requirements

BS or MS in Electronic Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
