Role Summary

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) test engineering for Marvell Packaged Integrated Voltage Regulator (PIVR) products. Work with cross-functional teams to develop electrical test plans, design ATE test hardware (including thermal and mechanical considerations), and establish standardized test processes for production ramp.

Experience Level

Senior — requires extensive test-engineering experience. The posting specifies 15+ years of test engineering experience and 5+ years of leadership driving test development for NPI and high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Accountable for test program delivery across pre-silicon and post-silicon phases and for translating product requirements into validated production test solutions.

  • Lead test program development and align milestones with program management and post-silicon teams to support NPI deployment.
  • Oversee pre-silicon and post-silicon test development and release for HVM ramps.
  • Define and execute comprehensive test plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Drive ATE hardware design: initiate designs, run reviews, and approve hardware before manufacturing sign-off.
  • Design and validate load boards, sockets, and other high-power test fixtures with thermal and mechanical considerations.
  • Develop production test programs and test hardware for IVR/PIVR products on state-of-the-art ATE.
  • Establish standardized processes and methodologies for Operations Engineering teams.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of test engineering experience focused on NPI and producing ATE test solutions for HVM.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience driving teams and test development initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience testing PMIC/IVR devices and developing corresponding production test solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of ATE hardware design and test flow; experience with Advantest V93000 (93K) platforms.
  • Proficiency with pattern translation tools (DFT → ATE formats) and ATE firmware collaboration.
  • Advanced programming skills in Java, C/C++, and Python within ATE environments.
  • Experience with version control workflows (SVN or Git) for test program development and release.
  • Strong debugging and validation skills for communication protocols and system-level test.
  • Nice-to-have: experience with photonic products, RF/microwave principles, Teradyne UltraFLEX, and thermal characterization/testing.
