Role Summary

Responsible for power integrity and EMIR (electromagnetic interference/resilience) analysis for IC, package and board designs. The role works within the analog/hardware engineering team to identify, model, and mitigate power-delivery and electromagnetic issues to meet product sign-off criteria.

Collaborates with circuit designers, layout/package teams, and validation groups to deliver measurable PDN and EM performance improvements and sign-off-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

Core responsibilities include technical analysis, modeling, and cross-team coordination.

• Perform power integrity (PDN) and EMIR/EMI analysis across IC, package, and board domains; identify root causes and propose mitigations.
• Develop, run, and interpret simulation and measurement-based analyses (transient and frequency-domain) to quantify IR drop, noise, and coupling.
• Provide design recommendations and verify mitigations with simulations or lab measurements.
• Prepare sign-off documentation, technical reports, and specifications for power/EMIR requirements.
• Collaborate across design, layout, package, and validation teams and help integrate fixes into development flow.
• Automate analysis workflows and develop scripts/tools to streamline data processing and repeatable evaluations.
